I Have been teaching students young and old since 1999

Alisha Monahan is called "Pepper" by friends and students and is a top Bay Area voice coach, and a licensed piano teacher. She loves teaching children and adults to play the piano and sing. She has been a theater actress, jazz musician, voice-over professional and can be recognized from appearing in numerous television commercials and print ads.

She has performed in over 40 live broadway musical theater productions and has played principle roles with The American Conservatory Theater of San Francisco, Theatre Works of Palo Alto, Woodminster Amphitheater, the Douglass Morrison Theater and has been a featured soloist in numerous theaters and halls throughout the United States. She is the honored recipient of the vocal scholarship from the prestigious Pacific Musical Society in the classical voice competition and is a winner of The Command Performance for the ASCI Piano Festival. Her students have appeared on American Idol, The Voice, and the XFactor.

 She graduated from Las Positas College in Livermore, and attended Cal State East Bay and 

Mills College, where she majored in Theater and Vocal Performance.
